The coronavirus outbreak that started spreading in 2019 has been still spreading across the world. Even though all the countries across the world have been taking appropriate safety measures, imposing restrictions, and even lockdowns and these countries have been producing vaccination against this deadly virus to prevent further outbreak.

This deadly virus has caused so many damages and caused a lot of deaths in the world and the world economy has dropped and it will take a lot of time to return to the point before the pandemic. Some of the major organization such as Pfizer and AstraZeneca has been producing vaccinations to keep the people around the world safe and help in stop spreading the virus.

The United States of America is at the top of the list which has the highest number of covid-19 cases in the world and it also has caused many deaths. The total number of coronavirus cases to date is more than 3.3 crores and the death rate is more than 9.4 lakhs. Even though the United States has been taking so many safety measures such as mandatory masks and sanitization and imposing lockdown and making vaccinations mandatory, it has been difficult in controlling the spread of the virus as there are different variants of coronavirus been detected in the United States which first originated in India, the United Kingdom and in South Africa. 

As per the recent records, the vaccination that has been given to people have been working very efficiently and it has reduced the number of new coronavirus infection. It is also observed that when president Joe Biden took over the administration in January, the total percent of the Americans who were vaccinated were only 1%, and as per the reports, currently, the total number of Americans vaccinated are more than 60% and President Biden has set a goal that by July 4, 70% of Americans should be vaccinated. After seeing all these positive results of vaccination, Americans have returned to post-pandemic life by recently celebrated the Memorial day weekend and starting opening summer camps, vacations, and family gatherings, and many more.

Due to the pandemic, the second school year has been disrupted and because of this summer school plans on taking shape around the country. Aja Purnell-Mitchell’s three teenagers were vaccinated and now that they are vaccinated it’s their choice to go back to school during the summer break. After the spring of 2020, the children have been in the classroom which will be the first time after a complete year. Some of the parents have been telling that getting their children back to school and helping them to socialize with their friends and even hoping that they will make new friends will be so helpful for them as they missed an entire year and lacked all these things on Zoom classes.

It is also observed that across the United States of America, more children will be signing up for the summer schools than before as they want to make up for lost learning during the outbreak, which has caused disruptions in education. Schools nationwide are expanding their summer programs and offering bonuses to get teachers to take part. As per the recent reports, the most recent federal relief package, the Biden administration is requiring the states to devote some of the billion towards the summer school and summer programs.

The United States Education Department also mentioned that it is too early that how many students will sign up for the summer programs. It is estimated that more than 3.3 million students will be there obviously who went to mandatory or optional summer school in 2019, before the pandemic.
