The life expectancy of a kid with Downs Syndrome is around 50 to 60 years.
As per the reports, there have been reported that many parents who have found out that their child will be born with Downs Syndrome have opted for abortion. The reports suggest that more than 67% of the pregnancies have ended as the parents found out that their child will be born with Downs Syndrome as per the reports collected in the United States of America. This means there were 33% fewer babies in the United States Downs Syndrome community born now than there would have been if those abortions had not occurred.
As per the recent reports, the authorities of the North Carolina state senators are expected to approve a ban on abortions which prohibits the doctors from performing abortions in cases where they belong to a particular sex, or race, or prenatal diagnosis of Downs Syndrome.
